GoalGo

Changelog

What's new in GoalGo.

Every release, in the words we ship to the App Store.

  1. 2.3.0

Goal lists, challenges on your habits, run statistics, and a look that is ready for iOS 27.

    Goal lists
Group goals into lists like "2026 goals" or "Better me". Each list is a card on the Goals tab that opens on its own, so you see one list at a time instead of everything at once. Move goals in from a goal's ••• menu, or several at a time from the list. Premium.
    Challenges
Challenge yourself on any habit: pick how many days in a row to keep it, or weeks for a weekly habit, then check the habit off as usual. The Streak card shows the run, your best and the finish; Today lists every challenge with where it stands. A missed day restarts the run without ending the challenge.
    Quit goals
Quit goals now show your current run, your best run and how many times you have reset, so a slip costs you the run rather than the record.
    Ready for iOS 27
The tab bar and pop-ups pick up the iOS 27 look: a glass tab bar that sizes to its tabs, and sheets that sit where iOS 27 puts them.
    Also
Notes keep their line breaks. The habit step of the welcome flow can be skipped. Habit picks after a new goal come with a reason that fits that goal.
  2. 2.2.0

A Momentum that keeps what you earn, goal history, a quick tour, and a calmer, tidier app.

    Momentum
What you earn no longer fades away. Momentum only dips on a day with nothing done, and your first habit each day counts double, so steady days really add up.
    Goals
Every goal now has a history of its updates, in the ••• menu at the top. Setting a deadline has a Custom option that opens the calendar for any date you like.
    Habits
A habit's history moves to the ••• menu too. Info tiles stay on one line, and counting habits get a cleaner chart.
    A quick tour
New to GoalGo, or want a refresher? A short tour walks you through Today, Goals and Habits. Take it any time from Settings › Take the tour.
    Also
iCloud sync, backups and imports together on one iCloud & Data page. A close button that leaves New goal and New habit in one tap. Friendlier empty screens, one consistent button style, and a What's new page that remembers each update.
  3. 2.1.0

Easier logging, a better calendar, and a fairer Momentum.

    Logging progress
Logging an amount for a habit or a goal is quicker. Tap minus or plus and the number moves in steps that suit your target. Add to what you have, or set today's total. Habits get a Complete button that marks the day done in one tap, and the keyboard never covers Cancel or Save any more.
    Dates and times
Choosing a date — a deadline, a checklist step, a start date — opens the calendar you know from the rest of your iPhone, and it no longer comes up empty. Reminder times look and work the same everywhere, and match your phone's clock format.
    Habits
The streak card explains what counts, shows your last seven days with today on the right, and tells you how many days in a row you're on. Habit templates confirm the schedule before creating anything.
    To do
A "This week" group on the Today screen and in the To do widget, for things planned past tomorrow.
    Momentum
Retuned so the score reflects how much you actually do: one habit a day no longer sits in the middle, and a full day moves it properly. Every seventh active day in a row adds a small consistency bonus.
    Also
A softer streak calendar, a tidier getting-started flow, clearer labels, and a stack of small fixes — including a reminder that opened at the wrong hour and a logged total of 0 that didn't save.
  4. 2.0.0

The biggest update since launch. The app has been rebuilt from the ground up.

    Today
A new home screen with everything the day asks of you: your Momentum, your main focus, today's habits, and a light to-do list.
    Momentum
One score from 0 to 100 for how you're really doing. It grows when you show up and cools down gently when you don't, so you can always build it back up. Tap it for a 7- and 30-day chart and a feed of what moved it.
    Home screen widgets
Four new widgets, free for everyone: Momentum, Main focus, Today's habits, and To do. Small, medium and large.
    iCloud sync
Turn it on and a private copy in your own iCloud keeps your other devices up to date. Nothing is ever deleted to make them match. Premium.
    Goals
Quit goals that count the days since you stopped. Goal colours. A progress chart with a pace line. Optional deadlines. Checklist steps with their own due dates. A screen for the goals you've finished.
    Habits
"A few days a week" scheduling. Units: km, pages, hours. A tappable month calendar. New create and edit screens. Routines are now called Habits everywhere.
    Getting started
29 goal templates and 36 habit templates, plus a short guided setup that gets your first goal and habit in place in about two minutes.
    Backups
Export everything to a file, and import it back. Free, on every plan.
    Also
A completely new look built for iOS 26. Faster everywhere: the old storage layer has been replaced with a real database. Now requires iOS 17 or later.
  5. 1.2.1

The last release of the 1.x line.

    Maintenance
Fixes and compatibility updates for the original habit tracker before the 2.0 rebuild began.
  6. 1.0

    First release, as Routine.

    Habits
Checkbox, counter and timer habits, straightforward creation, reminders and lists.
    Insights
Week and month progress overviews, visual insights and overall statistics.
